One of our newest partnerships is with Sheffield Hatters.  The club were formed in the early 1960’s and became the first Women’s Basketball team in England.  Since then the club has developed into the most successful women’s sports club in the country due to our domination of English Women’s Basketball since the early 1990’s.  Hatters were the first women’s basketball club in the country to gain Sport England’s Clubmark Accreditation. The club has a reputation for providing playing and coaching opportunities for girls and women of all ages.  The strong junior development programme, with teams from under 10 and up to under 18, has been so successful that many young players move into the senior team and go on to win international honours.  This is mostly due to our senior players and coaches being involved with the local community and regularly visiting many Sheffield primary and secondary schools. We look forward to developing this links as year progresses. Click on the title link for further club information.
